Fried egg with Chinese Style Sausage over Jasmine Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup jasmine rice 
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 Chinese style sausage 
  • 1 Micro Pharms Fried Chili Oil 

Instructions

  1. Put the washed rice and water in the rice cooker in a 1:1 water-to-rice ratio.
  2. Cook on the white rice setting.
  3. When it’s done, let the rice sit in the rice cooker for 10-20 minutes, then gently fluff with a spoon.
  4. Crack each egg into a ramekin or small bowl.
  5. Add sliced Chinese style sausage
  6. Brush a nonstick skillet with olive oil and heat over low heat. Pour in the eggs and sausage, cover with a clear glass lid, and continue to cook over low heat for about 2 minutes, or until the whites are set.
  7. Season with salt, pepper and drizzle with fried chili oil. Serve hot.
